This is the ultimate refreshing treat—bright, zesty, and naturally vibrant. It’s essentially a frozen, non-alcoholic version of a Lemon Drop cocktail, elevated with a sweet blueberry swirl.

Blueberry Lemon Drop Slushie

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Total time: 10 minutes
  • Servings: 2 people

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Ice cubes
  2. 1 cup Fresh or frozen blueberries
  3. 1/2 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3-4 lemons)
  4. 1/4 cup Granulated sugar (or honey/agave to taste)
  5. 1/2 cup Cold water or sparkling water
  6. 1 tsp Lemon zest (for that extra “drop” punch)
  7. Optional: Fresh mint leaves and lemon slices for garnish
  8. Optional: Sugar for rimming the glasses

Instructions

  1. The Blueberry Puree: In a small blender or using a fork, muddle/blend the blueberries with 1 tablespoon of the sugar and a splash of water until smooth. Set this aside—we will swirl it in at the end.
  2. Rim the Glasses: (Optional) Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of two glasses and dip them into sugar for that classic “Lemon Drop” aesthetic.
  3. The Slushie Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the ice, lemon juice, remaining sugar, lemon zest, and cold water.
  4. Blend: Pulse until the mixture reaches a smooth, snowy consistency. If it’s too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it moves freely in the blender.
  5. The Swirl: Pour the lemon slushie into your prepared glasses, filling them about 3/4 of the way.
  6. Layer: Spoon the blueberry puree over the top of the lemon slushie.
  7. Marble: Use a straw or a long spoon to gently swirl the blueberry puree into the lemon slushie to create a marbled effect.
  8. Garnish: Top with fresh blueberries, a slice of lemon, and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately with a straw.

Enjoy!
